Number of dial attempts. If no connection is made, the unit makes another
Number of tries
attempt (up to the number set here) to establish the connection. 1 - 5 attempts
can be set here. If a successful connection could not be established, an error
message appears on the display. This message is saved in the events list.
Wait for connect A telephone connection must be established within this timeframe when calling
by modem. If this is not the case, a new call can be started once the time set
for "Pause between calls" has elapsed (see also "Number of tries").
Pause betw. calls Time to wait until next call following an unsuccessful attempt to connect.
Modem type Indicates the type of modem connected to the device.
Standard modem: analogue or ISDN modem.
GSM terminal: wireless modem, mobile phone.
Dial command Use this item to set the dial command/initiation string your modem requires. The
dial command "ATDT" is set at the factory.
SMS fault If necessary, a relay can be switched if all attempts to send an SMS were
unsuccessful.
