Operation / set-up
88
Operating mode
"Normal operation": device records the measuring points really connected.
"Simulation": instead of the measuring points really connected, the signals are
simulated (taking the current device settings into account).
!
If required, use the "Signal analysis- Reset to zero" function, so that the values
of the simulated signals do not corrupt your true minima/maxima/quantities after
switching back to normal operation. If the previous signals are still required,
save them beforehand on a diskette (see Section 7 "Commissioning -
Accessible functions - Diskette functions").
Auto. limit event
If yes, the device automatically generates limit value messages even if no user-
defined messages are available, e.g. channel 5 > 100 m
stored in the events list and in the memory (caution: larger memory required!).
If no, a message is only saved if a text was specifically defined for the limit
values. Otherwise, this limit value violation does not appear in the events list
and thus is also not saved.
Autom. L/H event
If yes, the device automatically generates L/H messages even if no user-
defined messages are available. These messages are stored in the events list
and in the memory (caution: larger memory required!).
If no, a message is only saved if a text was specifically defined for the digital
inputs for the on /off message. Otherwise, this message does not appear in the
events list and thus is also not saved.
Relay message
If yes, the device saves a message in the events list as soon as a relay is
switched.
If no, the device does not save any message even if the relay switches.
Will be saved
"Status on save": saves current status at the time of saving.
"In case input was HIGH": saves "HIGH" status if the input was HIGH at least
once since the last save even if the input is back to LOW at the time of saving.
As a result, each switching sequence within a save cycle is definitely identified
and saved.
Basic settings, Telealarm submenu
This function is not available unless your device is equipped with the telealarm option.
The following settings must be made.
Fig. 10:
Set-up, Basic settings, Telealarm submenu
Tele-alarm active
"Yes": Tele-alarm function is switched on.
"No": Tele-alarm function is switched off.
!
If the telealarm is activated, only the RS232 device interface is available.
Dial all numbers
"Yes": All the telephone numbers set for the channel are called with tele-alarm.
"No": Following a successful call, no further telephone numbers are called for
the channel.
