Assemble Editing
To perform assemble editing, press the ASSEM
button. Its
indicator will light when ON. Once editing has started, the
button is disabled. In the Assemble Edit mode, all the signals
(AUD-1, AUD-2, VIDEO, Time code) are recorded.
For assemble editing

Insert Editing

To perform insert editing, select the signal(s) to be inserted
(VIDEO/AUD-1/AUD-2) by pressing the corresponding INSERT
buttons. The buttons' indicators light when ON. To insert time
code signals, press the SHIFT button and TC button (to the
right of the AUD-2
button) simultaneously.
During insert
editing, any signals can be set to ON or OFF whenever
necessary.
Follow the procedure below to enter edit-in and edit-out points. Five of the 6 edit points (edit-in and edit-out points for each of
players A and B and the recorder) must be entered. Edit points can be entered while in the Play mode or in the Search mode.

Entering Player's Edit Points
Select player A or B with the A or B button.
Locate the edit-in point, and engage the Still mode.
Press the ENTRY
button while pressing the player's IN
button. The IN indicator in the time counter lights and the
OUT indicator blinks.
Locate the edit-out point, and engage the Still mode.
Press the ENTRY button while pressing the player's OUT
button. The OUT indicator in the time counter lights.
Repeat the same for the other player.
