5. Operation
Keep an appropriate safe distance when lift-
ing and lowering with or without load.
During operation, observe the instructions
on the safety labels on the concrete under-
side.
5.1 Using the wheel

Befor placing the wheel on the moveable lift of the
lifting device, make sure that the lifting device is
completely closed.
1. Position the wheel on the moveable lift.
Warning – Risk of injury from trapping
hands between rim-chuck plate and tire.
As the tire moves, make sure that your hands
do not become trapped between the tire and
rim-chuck plate.

Before starting, turn the clamping plate in
such a manner that the clamping jaws are
at an angle of 45° to the machine housing.

Make sure that the wheel is in a stable position be-
fore starting the moveable lift.

Make sure that the clamp claws are closed before
moving the moveable lift up- and downwards.
2. Press the drive pedal downwards to lift the move-
able lift.

Make sure that there are no subjects or machine

parts in the moving area of the TSL 230 in order
to avoid collision with the tire.

Support the wheel with both hands during the posi-
toning.
