Initial commissioning
4.1
Unpacking
1. Remove the strap and securing clamps from the pal-
let as well as the cardboard packaging.

After unpacking, check that the TSL 230 is in
perfect condition and that none of the components
exhibit any signs of damage. In case of doubt, do
not perform commissioning and call in a qualified
engineer and/or the seller of the machine.
2. Take the standard accessories and the packaging mate-
rial out of the transportation crate.

Dispose of the packaging material in the proper man-
ner at an appropriate collection site.
4.2
Installing the device

Disconnect the power supply and the compressed
air supply of the tire changing machine that is to be
connected to the lifting device.

Observe the instruction in the secgtion "Initial com-
missioning" when installin the lifting device.

The manufacturer is not liable for possible material
damages and/or injuries that can be traced back to
an installation other than that described in the sec-
tion "Initial commissioning".
4.2.1
Installing the device on preset machine types
1. Position the TSL 230 directly on the housing
of the tire changing machine while making sure
that the boreholes of the mounting frame of the
TSL 230 and of the housing are aligned with each
other.
2. Fixate the mounting frame with the supplied compo-
nents as shown in the following illustration.

3. In order to facilitate the tightening of the screws abd
nuts on the underside of the mounting frame, lift the
cylinder to have a better view of the working area.

4. Carefully re-position the cylinder while making sure
that the main pipe is not crushed and the port under-
neath is not damaged.
5. Fasten the cylinder in its seat as shown in the follow-
ing illustration.

6. Take the control pedal and position near the fasten-
ing boreholes on the housing.
