Due to this and due to the symmetrical hysteresis of ±100 mV, both limit
detectors may be used in either the energized or de-energized mode.
When using the '< LIM 2' as a min-alarm, and the '>LIM 1' as a max-alarm, the
relays are working according to the energized mode (see figure above).
Each detector controls one incorporated relay with change-over contacts.
The adjustment procedure for the setpoints is explained in para. 5.6.4.
The contacts of the setpoint relais are not spark protected.
When controlling inductive components (such as relays) they have to be spark
suppressed.
AC-relays by means of an R-C combination (R = 100 ... 300 Ohm,
C approx. 0.3 µF), connected in parallel to the relay coil.
DC-relays by means of a reverse-biased spark suppression diode (e.g. BYX 10),
connected in parallel to the relay coil.
