INSTRUCTION MANUAL PR 1591/00, /10
Example:
- full scale deflection of the weighing system
- max. display range of the voltmeter
- max. input voltage of the voltmeter
- required output voltage Ue of the PR 1591
for a display of 4000 (40.00)
The required SPAN has to be taken into account when determining the effective
sensitivity of the loadcell (configuration). Contrary to the calculation given on
page 5-2, the formula must be modified as follows:
sensitivity [mV/V] = ---------------------------------------------------------------------- x
Using the current output at the same time it must be observed that it also
supplies only 40 % of the possible 20 mA.
Alternatively, the Weight Transmitter can be adjusted to give an output voltage
of 10 V with nominal load (= f.s.d.). This requires the voltmeter (remote display)
to be adapted by means of a voltage divider.
When calculating the values of the required resistors please note that a
maximum current of 5 mA must not be exceeded and that the temperature
coefficient of the SPAN will be impaired due to the resistors of the voltage
divider.
