The PR 1591 also forms an ideal interface between plant mounted loadcells and
recording instruments, process control or computing equipment.
A built-in active filter provides high immunity to plant vibration.
Two built-in adjustable setpoints are available for overload and "run-dry" (empty)
protection, or for given alarms. Check weighing systems can also be realised
using the PR 1591.
All electronic components of the weight amplifier are contained in a robust die-
cast alminium casing which is completely sealed by means of a rubber seal
inserted into the cover. When the cover is removed, the adjustment controls and
connection terminals, which are located on the printed circuit board, are easily
accessible. The connection cables are fed-in via self-sealing cable glands.
