The maximum cable length between the voltage output of the PR 1591 and the
remote display should not exceed 50 meters. For interconnecting, a cable of
type LiYCY is recommended. It should be routed separately from power supply
and power signal cables (distance of approx. 1 m) and installed as described in
para. 4.4, and as shown in the interconnection example of fig. 7.6.
The wire strands of the cable must be twisted. They should be fixed to the
terminals without them having previously been tinned.
Alternatively they may be fitted with suitable crimp contacts before fixing to the
terminals.
4.7.2 Current output
With longer interconnection cable between Weight Transmitter and remote
display up to 150 m, it is advisable to use the current output instead of the
voltage output.
If using a voltmeter instead an amperemeter its input must be shunted as shown
in the scetch below.
