11.11 Working on slopes and under unfavourable
conditions
m WARNING!
Danger due to errors when driving on slopes
Take special care when driving on slopes! There is no "safe"
slope. Pay particular attention to the following safety instruc-
tions:
- If the wheels should spin or if the vehicle gets stuck when
climbing a slope. Disengage the clutch and leave the slope
in a slow downward and straight direction.
- A full transport tray increases the risk of the dumper tipping
over due to its weight.
• Always work slowly and with increased attention. Always
guide the machine in an upward or downward direction.
Never work at an angle on a slope.
The machine can become unbalanced and tip over. The ma-
chine must not be used on slopes steeper than 20%. Take
care that the machine does not tip over - danger to life!
• Remember that even if the unit has four-wheel drive, you must
be careful when working in adverse weather conditions (ice,
heavy rain and snow) or on types of ground that may cause
the dumper to become unstable.
• Please note that this is a wheeled vehicle that is subject to
considerable pitching movements when driving over bumps,
holes and steps.

Switching off the engine
m Attention!
If you need to stop the engine in an emergency, turn the on/off
switch (2) to the OFF position.
Use the following procedure under normal conditions:
1. Set the throttle lever (1) to the "L" position.
2. Let the engine idle for a minute or two after finishing work.
3. Turn the ON/OFF switch (2) to the "OFF" position.
4. Close the fuel valve (23).
5. If you leave the machine unattended, disconnect the spark
plug connector (29) from the spark plug to prevent acci-
dental starting of the machine.
CAUTION!
Do not adjust the choke lever (24) to stop the engine. Misfiring
or engine damage may occur.
12. Transport
m WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Unintended and unexpected start-up of the product may lead
to injuries.
- After loading, switch off the engine and, after the engine
has cooled down, remove the spark plug connector from the
spark plug.
- The product can cause severe crushing injuries due to its
own weight.
Allow the engine to cool down before transporting or loading
to avoid burns and to prevent fire hazards.
When transporting over longer distances, drain the fuel tank
completely.
12
GB/IE
Secure the machine on the transport vehicle against rolling, slip-
ping or tipping over and also lash down the dumper.
13. Cleaning and maintenance
m WARNING!
Danger of injury and burning!
The product can start unexpectedly and cause injuries. In addi-
tion, temperatures of 80° C and more can be reached.
- Switch off the motor before carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance work.
- Allow the engine to cool down.
- Remove the spark plug cable from the spark plug.
m WARNING!
Risk to health!
Inhaling petrol/lubricant vapours may lead to severe health
damage, loss of consciousness and, in extreme cases, to
death.
- Do not inhale petrol/lubricant vapours.
- Only use the product outdoors.
NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Water entering the housing can cause engine damages. In ad-
dition, the jet of a high-pressure cleaner can damage parts of
the product.
- Clean the product with a cloth, a hand brush, etc.
- Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid and
do not wash it with a high-pressure cleaner.
Maintenance plan
Check for maintenance
Loose screws
Check for damage
Check fuel tank for leaks
Check tire pressure
Clean machine
Clean the spark plug
Clean the air filter
Check the oil level
Lubricate drive chain
Change gear oil
Every 1000 operating hours
13.1. Check tire pressure
• Check the tyre pressure regularly. Long standing times and
sunlight contribute to rapid ageing of the tyres.
• Recommended tyre pressure on all wheels: 2.1 bar
(0.21MPa)
NOTE!
Environmental damage!
Spilled oil can pollute the environment permanently. The liquid
is highly toxic and can quickly lead to water pollution.
- Fill/empty oil only on level, paved surfaces.
- Use a filling nozzle or funnel.
- Collect drained oil in a suitable container.
- Immediately wipe up any spilled oil carefully and dispose it
according to local regulations.
- Dispose of oil as per local regulations.
