@ Only the differences between the adjustments of CA-1554B and that of the CA-1554A have been noted in these in-
structions. Therefore, these instructions should be used together with the instructions for the adjustment of the CA-
1554A.
1. The CA-1554B
includes the CA-5071A
(DSC)
and
therefore the adjustment procedure is entirely different
from that used previously. For sets not equipped with
CA-5071A (DSC) the instructions for the adjustment
of the CA-1554A can be used.

For the greater part, the adjustment steps are identical for
those
of the adjustment
of CA-1554A.
However,
the
following adjustment points have been deleted.
¢ Three beam current adjustment.
e Peak extension adjustment.
