Adjust R837 V. HEIGHT VR so that the amplitude of the
pattern is normal.
Adjust the CENTERING
MAGNET
so that the center of
the pattern coincides with the center of the frame of the
EVF
screen.
Turn the R860
BRIGHT VR while observing the EVF
screen and stop turning it just before the pattern's black
portion becomes invisible.
(Note) Shoot the gray scale pattern so that it fills the whole
area of the frame.
While monitoring the EVF screen turn R801 CONTRAST
VR and stop shortly before contrast fails on the white
area of the pattern for better viewability.
(Note) Rather lighter contrast is easier on the eyes.

While monitoring the EVF screen turn R862 FOCUS VR
as far right as possible, as long as the picture is in good
focus.

Connect the high voltage meter of CRT anode and make
sure that the meter indicator is within 3.5 + O.5kV.

9 | FINAL CHECK
Shoot patterns or other subjects and operate zoom, focus, iris control switch, VTR switch, etc..
Thus make sure that brightness, contrast, focus, size and location of the picture, iris indication,
VTR start/stop indication are all proper. Operate also the FILTER switch and WHITE BALANCE but-
tons and make sure that white balance indication (LED indication on the CRT mask area) is properly
achieved.. Further reduce the camera supply voltage (12V input) and make sure that battery alarm
indication on the EVF is properly achieved when thej voltage is below ca. 10.8V.
