Error message when saving the distribution pattern
Discrepancies in the distribution pattern can - if desired - be saved. When saving, the following message will
point out again that there are errors:
You can now select from 3 possible actions:
•
With Ignore, you save the flawed distribution pattern of the transfer command and exit the Edit Transfer
dialog window. You should only do this if you wish to change the pre-filling of the labware in the Work Ta-
ble menu afterwards.

By clicking on Delete, you return to the Edit Transfer dialog window and deleting all the pipetting steps
containing an error. Regardless of the type of error.
•
With Cancel, you return to the Edit Transfer dialog window and can then edit the distribution pattern or
press Cancel to exit the Edit Transfer dialog window.
7.9.2 Import/Export Well Contents
The settings of the [Work Table] menu allow you to import or export the Well Contents of a labware.
Import
If you work with many different liquids and/or volumes within a labware, it is recommended you import their
Well Contents to the software:
a. On the Work Table, select the labware whose well contents (Volume, Liquid Name, Liquid Type) are to be
imported.
b. Click on the [Import] button on the Main Settings tab for the selected labware.
c. Enter Import Well Contents in the open window; for example, add a previously copied table from a
spreadsheet software application using the Paste [Clipboard] button.

Add the required data from a text file by clicking on the [Import File] button.
Clicking on the [Generate example template] button will show you how the data to be imported must be
created in order for the software to read it under the current import settings.
In general, different import settings can be selected. Please note that the selected settings must match the
data you have processed (ANSI / SLAS Well Matrix or CSV List, tab or semi-colon, labeling the different infor-
mation, i.e. volume, type and name) in order to import correctly!
d. Confirm the import by clicking on the [Import] button.
