7.2.3 Typical Windows functions
In order to make it as easy and intuitive as possible for the user to work with the software, many actions can
be carried out with familiar Windows functions.
Right-click to open a context menu
a. Click on the right mouse button to open a context menu.
b. In the context menu that opens, select the command you wish to execute.
Various key combinations
Copy
With the key combination CTRL + C:
a. Select the labware or command to be copied. This can be carried out in the Equipping/Command list or
in the Graphical view (only for labware).
b. Press the key combination CTRL + C.
c. Use the Paste function to insert the labware or the command at a different position.
Paste
With the key combination CTRL + V:
a. Select the position at which the labware or command should be inserted.
b. Press the key combination CTRL + V.
Cut
With the key combination CTRL + X:
a. Select the labware or command to be cut.
b. This can be carried out in the Equipping/Command list or in the Graphical view (only for labware).
c. Press the key combination CTRL + X.
d. Use the Paste function to insert the labware or the command at a different position.
