Wait after aspirating
Adjust how long to wait after liquid aspiration before the program sequence continues.
Unit: milliseconds
This wait time ensures that the liquid is also completely aspirated from the Liquid End. This is useful, for in-
stance, for highly viscous liquids that react somewhat slowly to aspiration.
In the factory settings, a wait time of 100 ms is set for the SC-50 µl Liquid End in the Volume Range of 0 -
9.9%.

Air cushion aspirate speed
Adjust how quickly the liquid should be aspirated. After liquid aspiration, the Liquid End is removed from the
liquid. As the liquid in the Liquid End moves upward, an air cushion is created in the tip below the aspirated
liquid. This air cushion minimizes the risk of highly aqueous liquids escaping during the transfer.
By default, an air cushion is always taken up. This can be turned off in the Detail Settings of a Transfer, see
Custom air cushion settings, p. 318.
