Display increases until no more coolant is present in the vehicle A/
C system .
Collected coolant oil from the vehicle A/C system is transferred to
the waste oil reservoir . Waiting time 3 min .
Vacuum is generated in ACS 400/450 . Waiting time 1 min .
Display appears for approx . 3 sec .
Vacuum phase begins . Remaining time is displayed .
Pressure loss measurement (leak test) is performed . Waiting time
4 min .
Stoppage approx . 3 sec .
Oil injection phase is active .
Read off oil level in waste oil reservoir .

Add new coolant oil to fresh oil reservoir . Quantity corresponds to

oil level in waste oil reservoir .
Hold down button until all the coolant oil from the fresh oil reser-

voir has been added to the vehicle A/C system .
For vehicle A/C systems that are only fitted with a low pressure

connection, before filling is started the A/C system must be swit-
ched on in the vehicle, the A/C system temperature must be set to
its maximum and the fan must be set to its highest level .
Stoppage approx . 3 sec .
Filling phase is active . Display flashes for approx . 3 sec .
Vehicle A/C system is filled with coolant . Display increases until the
set filling weight (e . g . 00 .550 kg) is reached .
Filling phase complete . Display flashes .
Remaining quantity in internal coolant cylinder is displayed . Service
on vehicle A/C system is complete .
