Calibration of scales

12.7.1

Calibrating internal refrigerant cylinder

The internal refrigerant cylinder is calibrated at the
factory.

Contact customer service for calibration of the inter-
nal refrigerant cylinder.
12.7.2

Fresh oil and used oil scales

This section describes the procedure for the fresh
oil scale. Perform the same steps to calibrate the
used oil scale.
Calibration
!
Do not exert excessive force when removing or in-
serting the UV dye, fresh oil and used oil bottles, as
this could damage the scales.
!
Observe the ACS 511 menu prompting.
1. Call up start screen.
2. Press <3> and <Flush> simultaneously and release.
 The message ENTER CODE 0000

and confirm with E.
3. Enter code
4. Select "IN OIL CALIBRATION" with o u and confirm
with E.
 Calibration – fresh oil – zero position (en-
ter weight).
5. Remove the fresh oil bottle from the scales.

 Calibration weight is displayed.
7. Fill fresh oil bottle with exactly 250 ml of fresh oil
(fresh oil scale).
8. Attach fresh oil bottle to fresh oil scales.

(320 ml) and confirm with E.

For calibrating the fresh-oil weigher, a value of
340 ml (250 ml of oil in the bottle + 90 ml of tare
weight for the bottle) must be entered.

For calibrating the used-oil weigher, a value of
320 ml (250 ml of oil in the bottle + 70 ml of tare
weight for the bottle) must be entered.

The firmware (software) can be updated by way of a
PS2 stick. Further information can be obtained from
customer service.

The vehicle database can be updated annually by
way of a PS2 stick. Further information can be ob-
tained from customer service.

Do not switch off ACS 511 during update process.

Observe the ACS 511 menu prompting.
1. Call up start screen.
