2. Introduction

This product is a 1-axis interpolator with modular design for
industrial machines.
This interpolator splits the analog output signals from linear
encoders, rotary encoders, and other devices into 80 to 400
divisions (MJ500), 500 to 1024 divisions (MJ600), and 1200
to 4000 divisions (MJ700) and outputs A/B phase signals.

Features
. Modular design of 1-axis interpolator allows easy
configuration of multi-axis systems.
. Correction function for high-accuracy interpolation.
. Operation using a single 4.5 to 8 V DC power supply.
. Allows output of reference point signals in synchronization
with the A/B signals.
. Output signals include the A/B phase signal, reference
point signal, and alarm signal.
This interpolator uses a RS-422 standard (MC34C87 or
equivalent) voltage-differential line driver.
. The system uses a compact miniature DIN connector for
connecting to the encoder so that it can easily pass through
pipes.

Although this product is a general-purpose interpolator,
accuracy cannot be guaranteed when it is connected to
encoders by other manufacturers.
