of the vehicle must not be used.
IMPORTANT: Prior to installing attachments that are not
especially intended for this vehicle, please contact your
competent dealer. Your dealer will check if these attach-

essential for the safety of the driver and the vehicle as well
as for possible warranty claims.

8.2.1.1
Calculating the ballast
For the determination of the total weight, the axle loads
and the tyre load capacity as well as the necessary mini-
mum ballast, the following data is required:
Note
All indications of weight are in (kg)
All dimensional specifications in (m)
TL (kg) = Kerb weight of the vehicle
TV (kg) = Front axle load of the empty vehicle
TH (kg) = Rear axle load of the empty vehicle
GH (kg) = Total weight rear attachment/ rear bal-
last
GV (kg) = Total weight front attachment/front bal-
last
a
(m) = Distance between the centre of gravity
of the front attachment (front ballast)
and the middle of the front axle, max =
1.565 m

Start the motor und check whether the hydraulic drives
of the attachments are working properly.
Prior to purchasing the attachment, check that these
preconditions are met by weighing the vehicle-attach-
ment combination.
b
(m) = Wheel base of the vehicle
c
(m) = 0.796 m
d
(m) = Distance between the middle of the
appliance side attachment point and
centre of gravity of the rear attach-
