ESD - electrostatic discharge. Protect the terminals from electrostatic discharge. Failure
to observe this may result in destruction or malfunction of parts of the electronics.
Hardware write protection and the simulation mode (for Analog Input, Input Selector and PID
function block) can be enabled or disabled by means of DIP switches on the electronics
module. When write protection is active, parameters cannot be modified. A key symbol on the
display indicates that the write protection is on. Write protection prevents any write access to

Description
In stages of 10% with markers for measuring range undershoot
and overshoot. The bar graph display flashes when an error occurs.
This is displayed when an error or warning occurs.
Unit display for the internal measured value displayed. If an unit is
selected that cannot be displayed (mV, Ohm or °R), the unit is
attached to the text in the status and information display.
Displays the current measured value. In case of an error or warning
the related diagnostic information is indicated. Details see
associated operating manual.
Indicates which value is currently shown on the display. Text can
be entered for every value. In the event of an error or a warning,
the sensor input that triggered the error/warning is displayed
applicable, e.g. SENS1
The communication symbol appears when bus communication is
active.
The ' c onfiguration locked' symbol appears when configuration is
locked via the hardware.
