Starten, bis der Motor die richtige Dreh-
zahl erreicht hat. Um
lthren Batteriesatz
bes-
ser auszunutzen,
wird der Motor namlich
in
Stellung STOP des Steuerschiebers am Mik-
rofon abgeschaltet. Der Verstarker wird da-.
bei nicht abgeschaltet. Deshalb sollten Sie
bei langeren Pausen den Funktionsschalter
des C 4000 auf STOP stellen.
_ Selbstverstandlich
kann auch beim Aufneh-
men
vom Rundfunkprogramm
und _ bei
Uberspielen
von Platten oder Bandern
mit
dem GDM 308 fernbedient werden. Ist dies
_ nicht erwinscht, so braucht der Stecker des
Mikrofons
aber
nicht
herausgezogen
zu
werden, sofern der Schalter am GDM
308
auf START gestellt bleibt.

Remote Control
The
GDM
308
microphone
incoporates
a
stop/start switch for the remote control of
the C 4000 whilst recording. If you are using
tihs microphone
then
please wait
one
or
two seconds after starting to allow the mo-
tor sufficient time to reach
its proper
run-
ning speed. To protect your batteries from
becoming exhausted too quickly, the motor
is switched
off when
remote
control is in
the "STOP"
position. The amplifier is. still
live. If you wish to stop for longer periods
of time then we suggest that you turn the
recorder function selector to STOP.
Of course, the C 4000 Automatic
may also
be remote-controlled
with the GDM 308
whilst recording a radio programme,
records
or tapes. If remote control is not desired,
simply set the switch of the GDM to
its
START
position
(the microphone
must not.
be disconnected).
Monitoring
Monitoring is especially recommended when
making microphone recordings to determine
whether the singing of the vocalist stands
out against the accompaniment.
Adjust the
monitoring volume with the volume control
(8). Monitoring
is possible via the built-in
laudspeaker or via earphone (recommended
when
microphone
and recorder are placed
in the same
room).
