Select the LCD timecode display operation during pulldown mode playback.
DIS: The pulldown timecode (PDT) is not displayed (the timecode display
operates normally.)
ENA: Both the 30-frame timecode (PDT) matching the pulldown output signal
and the original 24-frame timecode (ORG) are displayed in two lines.
Abbreviation characters appear before timecode values ("PDT" for 30-
frame timecode, and "ORG" for 24-frame timecode).
Select the timecode data to return during pulldown playback in 9-pin remote
control mode in response to a timecode sense command.
OFF: Return timecode data before pulldown conversion.
ON: Return timecode data after pulldown conversion.
The setting of this menu item is enabled only during pulldown mode playback
(with the system frequency set to 24PD, 23.98PD1, or 23.98PD2).
Select whether, during pulldown mode playback, to synchronize the pulldown
signal and downconvert output signal with a reference signal input to the REF.
VIDEO INPUT 2 connector of the connector panel.
OFF: Do not synchronize the pulldown output signal and downconverted
output signal is synchronized with the input to the REF. VIDEO INPUT 2
connector. The pulldown output signal is synchronized with a 30-frame/
29.97-frame signal internally generated from the servo reference signal
(24-frame/23.98-frame).
LOCK1: Synchronize the pulldown output signal and downconvert output
signal with the input to the REF. VIDEO INPUT 2 connector.
LOCK2: Synchronize the pulldown output signal and downconvert output
signal with the input to the REF. VIDEO INPUT 2 connector. Also, fix the
delay of A-frames of the pulldown output signal with respect to A-frames
of the 24-frame/23.98-frame sequence at 1.6 frames.
The setting of this menu item is enabled only during pulldown mode playback
(with the system frequency set to 24PD, 23.98PD1, or 23.98PD2). In
recording mode, and in assemble or insert editing mode, this item is set to
OFF.
Select the signal to use during pulldown playback, when this unit uses an
external reference signal input to the REF. VIDEO INPUT 2 connector, as
specified in setup menu item 342.
SD: Use an SD reference video signal as the reference signal. Input a video
signal with chroma burst (VBS) or a monochrome video signal (VS) to the
REF. VIDEO INPUT 2 connector.
HD: Use an HD reference video signal as the reference signal. Input a tri-level
sync signal (59.94i) to the REF. VIDEO INPUT 2 connector.
The setting of this menu item is enabled only during pulldown mode playback
(with the system frequency set to 23.98PD1 or 23.98PD2). When the system
frequency is set to 24PD, this menu item is not displayed and synchronization
is possible only with an HD (60i) signal.
Select whether to set the A-frame timecode value of 24F TC (24-frame
timecode) to use during pulldown mode playback.
OFF: Do not set. (00:00:00:00)
ON: Set.
To set the A-frame timecode value of 24F TC
Select F9 (SET) with this menu item displayed in the menu display section, to
enter the A-frame timecode value setting mode. Select F1 (PREV) or F2
(NEXT) for digit selection. When all required digits have been set correctly,
select F9 (SET) again to save the A-frame timecode value and exit the A-
