a) Initial speed setting or stored speed setting
720P Mode
To be able to obtain a 720P mode output, first select "ON"
in setup menu item 018 "ACTIVE LINE SELECT", and
then set to 720P.
Slow Process Mode
To enable the function to increase vertical resolution when
in slow playback mode, set setup menu item 918 "SLOW
PROCESS MODE" to "ON".
Notes
• Items which are disabled in pulldown mode and 720P
mode
- Preread operation (for details, see the description of
setup menu item 319 in the Operation Manual).
- Slow process operation (for details, see the description
of setup menu item 918 (see page 15)).
- –90H (HD) advance output (for details, see the
description of maintenance menu item M3A0 in the
maintenance manual).
- Output of UMID, ARIB, and other metadata (for
details, see the "UMID Functions" chapter of the
Operation Manual).
• Limitations in pulldown mode
- It is not possible for receiving equipment to correctly
receive embedded audio (4-channel) multiplexed into
post-pulldown output (HDSDI/SDSDI) when the
original audio is burst mode signals. Normal reception
is possible when the audio is audio mode or continuous
mode signals.
(Refer to the description of maintenance item M372 in
the Maintenance Manual for more information about
burst mode and continuous mode.)
- Normal editing operation is not obtained when
connections are made to equipment performing player
synchronization and pulldown signals output from this
unit are used in editing.
