Folgende I/O-Komponenten stehen für die Erweiterung der IndraMotion MLC
und IndraControl XLC auf Hardware-Basis IndraControl L zur Verfügung:

FDT (Field Device Tool) ist ein herstellerübergreifendes Konzept zur Konfigu‐
ration, Parametrierung, Diagnose und Verwaltung von Feldgeräten. Die FDT-
Funktionalität von IndraWorks wird als FDT-Container bezeichnet.
Der IW-FDT-Container dient zur Integration von 3rd party Engineeringtools,
die als DTM (Device Type Manager) vom Gerätehersteller bereitgestellt wer‐
den. Basis ist der FDT-Standard 1.2 und 1.2.1 der FDT-Group.
FDT/DTM steht für die Bussysteme Profibus, Profinet und Sercos zur Verfü‐
gung.
