4. Product description

The controller is placed in a control cabinet with fixing holes at
the back and in the bottom for mounting. The cabinet can either
be mounted on a pump set or a wall.
The control cabinet, which is powered by the mains, supplies the
engine with the power required for starting and operating the
engine. Furthermore, the power supply is used to charge two
battery sets. Each battery set is charged via its own charger.
If the power supply fails, the two battery sets will take over the
electrical supply of the control cabinet.

4.1 Controls and indicating instruments

All controls and indicating instruments, except the main switch,
are placed in the cabinet door. See fig. 1.

The control elements and indicator lights have the following
functions:
Control panel (DPC 300 V)
The control panel contains the buttons required to set the
parameters of the controller, a text display to display status and
fault readings as well as various indicator lights. It is placed in the
cabinet door. The control panel is described in section
panel.
Mains failure (H0)
The yellow indicator light lights up in case of a mains failure,
meaning that the supply voltage has dropped below 200 V.
Acoustic alarm (H3)
The buzzer is activated in case of fault.
Louvres open (H4)
The white indicator light is on when the louvres are open,
regardless of whether they have been opened automatically by
the controller or manually by pressing [Start ventilator].
Ventilator on (H5)
The white indicator light is on when the room ventilator is running,
regardless of whether it has been activated automatically by the
controller or manually by pressing [Start ventilator].
Ammeter, charger 1 (P1)
The ammeter for charger 1 indicates the charging current of
battery set A.
Ammeter, charger 2 (P2)
The ammeter for charger 2 indicates the charging current of
battery set B.
Start engine (S1)
The button is used to start the pump manually in connection with
startup, servicing, etc.
Stop engine (S2)
The button is used to stop the pump after an automatic or manual
start.
Start ventilator (S3)
The controller normally opens the louvres and activates the room
ventilator automatically when the diesel engine is started.
However, it is also possible to open the louvres and activate the
room ventilator manually by pressing this button.
Stop ventilator (S4)
The controller normally closes the louvres and deactivates the
room ventilator automatically when the diesel engine is stopped.
However, it is also possible to close the louvres and deactivate
the room ventilator manually by pressing this button.
Emergency start 1 (SE1)
If the automatic start procedure fails or the controller is defective,
the pump set can be started manually by pressing this button
after breaking the glass. Keep the button pressed until the diesel
engine starts, but no longer than 15 seconds. When you press
this button, emergency start device 1 will be activated.
Emergency start 2 (SE2)
If the automatic start procedure fails or the controller is defective,
the pump set can be started manually by pressing this button
after breaking the glass. Keep the button pressed until the diesel
engine starts, but no longer than 15 seconds. When you press
this button, emergency start device 2 will be activated.
