Conversion of the Valve System
PLC configuration key
12.5.5
Conversion documentation
After a conversion, the PLC configuration key printed on the right end plate is no longer valid.
Correct the PLC configuration key or cover it with a new label and write the new PLC
configuration key on the end plate.
Always document all changes to your configuration.
Mat. no.
After a conversion, the material number (MNR) on the right end plate is no longer valid.
Mark the material number so that it is clearly visible that the unit no longer corresponds to its
original condition on delivery.
12.6 Conversion of the I/O zone
12.6.1
Permissible configurations
No more than ten I/O modules may be connected to the bus coupler.
For further information on converting the I/O zone, see the system descriptions of the individual
I/O modules.
We recommend an expansion of the I/O modules starting from the left end of the valve system.
12.6.2
Positioning the process data for digital and analog I/O modules
Process data (input an output data) of the digital and analog I/O modules is stored in the
Manufacturer-Specific Profile Area object (from object 0x2000). Process data of the digital inputs
is also stored in the device-specific profile area (object 0x6000).
12.6.3
Positioning the status and parameter data for digital and analog I/O modules
The status and parameter data of the digital and analog I/O modules is stored in the
Manufacturer-Specific Profile Area object (from object 0x2000). Digital inputs do not have
parameters such as "Interrupt mask" or "polarity".
12.6.4
Conversion documentation
The PLC configuration key is printed on the top of the I/O modules.
Always document all changes to your configuration.
