The battery may not be recharged when
it indicates a fault. The battery might be
damaged after being dropped or due to
mechanical impact, even when there is
no visible external damage.
Such batteries must therefore be in-
spected by a FLYER specialist retailer.
Never try to open a battery or to repair it.
3 Pull out the power plug from the plug socket
After disconnecting the battery from the charger,
disconnect the power supply plug from the wall
socket.
Before using the battery, be sure to firmly tighten
the rubber cap.
Inserting the battery
First, place the battery into the lower holder of the
e-bike and move its upper part towards the ve-
hicle until the lock audibly latches into the upper
holder.
Ensure that the battery is correctly positioned in
the holder.
• Prevent extreme overheating due to
external effects or overloading.
• Only use the battery with your FLYER.
• Never use a damaged battery. If you
discover cracks, deformation of the
housing or leaks, stop using the bat-
tery and have your FLYER checked
by a specialist retailer.
• The lighting function will still continue
for approx. one hour after the battery
is empty.
Battery warnings
• Do not let the battery fall, do not throw it and
avoid high impacts. These can cause leaks,
fire or explosion.
• Do not use strong force when handling the
battery. If the battery is deformed, the integrat-
ed protective mechanism may be damaged.
