5.2 Error analysis
In case of an error the measuring system outputs a diagnostic message. The
message can be displayed in the TIA Portal.
5.2.1 Display of the diagnostic message
To display a diagnostic message, an online connection to the F-CPU must be
established. For this purpose first of all in the Project tree in the directory
tree the entry CD_582_-EPN_PROFIsafe -> PLC_1 [CPU 1511F-1 PN]
must be chosen with the left mouse button.
After that in the menu bar under Online the command Go online or the
corresponding symbol out of the function bar can be chosen.
If the online connection is established in the Project tree the entry Devices
& networks must be chosen with a double click and the left mouse button. In
the working area the Network view is displayed.
In the Network view the measuring system must be chosen via double click
and the left mouse button. As a result the Device view of the working area is
opened with the measuring system.
