Before first Use

 Remove the electric kettle from the packaging and check it for
any damage in transit.
 Dispose of any non-reusable packaging material properly or store
it in a safe location out of reach of children.
 Clean all parts of the electric kettle before using the first time as
described below (chapter "Cleaning and Storing").
Before using the electric kettle for the first time, clean the interior by
filling fresh water twice and boil. Do not use any additives or deter-
gents.

Assembling and Filling the Water Kettle

1. Place the base (6) on a solid, level surface.
2. Connect the base to a properly installed, grounded mains socket
with protective connection.
3. Push the lid button (1) to open the lid. Fill the electric kettle with
tap water at normal temperature. Do not overfill. Do not exceed
the MAX mark on the water level indicator (7) of the kettle.
4. Close the lid. Place the electric kettle on the base. First the
display (2) shows
temperature will be displayed.

Operation

1. For boiling the water, press the "An/Aus" (ON/OFF) button (5)
once. The water kettle heats up the water up to 100° C. The boil-
ing process is shown on the display. Always make sure that the
lid is closed during boiling process.
2. After boiling you will hear signal sounds and the device automati-
cally switches off. In the display you can read the boiling temper-
ature. During operation the LED colour indicator will change its
colour from green – yellow – blue – purple red.
