Before first Use
Remove the ceramic kettle from the packaging and check for any damage in
transit.
Dispose of any non-reusable packaging material properly or store it in a safe
location out of reach of children.
Clean all parts of the ceramic kettle before using the first time as described
below (chapter "cleaning").
Assembling and using the Water Kettle
1. Place the base (7) on a solid, level surface. Slide the power cord through the
cord opening.
2. Only connect the base to a properly installed, earthed mains socket with
protective connection.

Fill the ceramic kettle with water. Do
not overfill. The water level should
not exceed the MAX mark which is
located inside the kettle.
4. Place the ceramic kettle on the base
(7) and closed the lid (3).
5. Press down the switch (5), to switch
on the ceramic kettle. Do not use
force on the switch.
The power indicator (6) turns on.
Keep the lid (3) closed at all times
during use.
Before using the ceramic kettle for the first time, fresh water should be boiled
in it twice for cleaning. Do not use any additives or detergents.
After boiling, the device switches off automatically.
If you want to stop the boiling process, lift up the switch (5) or just remove the
kettle from the base.
6. Keep the lid (3) closed when pouring water. There is risk of injury!
Disconnect the base from mains power if you do not use the water kettle for a
long time, when cleaning or moving it or if any malfunctions occur.
