Working with a soldering iron und soldering tin involves a considerable
risk of burns and intoxications.

Observe the recommendations of the manufacturer of the solde-

ring iron or soldering station. Hold the soldering iron only with the
handle provided for that purpose. Never touch a hot soldering iron
or molten soldering tin.
When soldering always provide for adequate ventilation of the

workplace environment as soldering generates toxic vapours that
may not be breathed in.
Soldering tin may not come in contact with the mouth or be swal-

lowed as the metals it contains can have harmful effects.
NOTE:
Avoid any dirt and fingerprints on the conversion PCB.

out some tests on an old PCB.

Make sure you work on a flat and clean soldering mat.
Provide for adequately good lighting at your workplace, for instance by

Earthing/Conductive discharge: Use an ESD protective mat to lead away
