Adjusting the steering rod
FALLER Car System vehicles can only be ideally guided if the steering rods
are adjusted correctly. This is the case in the delivered condition. However,
variations can occur for example through accidents in traffic. A readjust-
ment is then necessary. The magnet slider should always glide parallel to
the surface of the road. The illustration in
In case of smaller vehicles with folded steering slider tip, the magnetic force
can be regulated by unfolding the wire with the tip of a knife. This may be
necessary to optimize the steering power, for instance in case of steering loss
because the magnet is to high or in case of adhesion of the steering rod to
the road because the distance of the magnet to the road is really too small.

NOTE:
The slider must feature some play at the screwed union.
The steering rod must lie on the roadway and be able to swivel to the
right and to the left.
