Step 7: Soldering the temperature sensor
NOTE: The temperature sensor monitors the temperature of the batteries
during the charging procedure. A noticeable increase in the temperature of
the batteries indicates that they have almost reached the full charge and is
used, in addition to the measurement of the voltage, to switch off to com-
plete the charging procedure.
NOTICE
Material damage through short-circuit
Securing the temperature sensor to the "+" (plus) side of the rechargea-
ble batteries results in a short-circuit.
The temperature sensor must always be secured to the "-" (minus)

side of the rechargeable batteries.
Solder the temperature sensor in accordance with the inscription on

the PCB.

Secure the temperature sensor with some instant adhesive to the "-"
X
(minus) side of the batteries.
NOTE: Temperature sensors are available as spare parts from FALLER's cus-
tomer service department.
Step 8: Soldering batteries
NOTE: If your batteries are plugged, solder the cable ends to the flat sockets
of the battery holder. The batteries will thus remain interchangeable.
First of all, tin the soldering tags at the batteries.

Solder the batteries in accordance with the inscription on the PCB.
