6.6. Installation of anchors at angles
6.6.1. General information
Anchors at angles are fixed to the structural and post
anchors (ASPI) as defined in Section 6.3.1.
In standard delivery, the angle anchors are supplied as
described below:
• travspring™ and travspring™ One: packaged in a
polyethylene bag.
• travsmart:
packaged
preassembled anchors using the HM12 screw and
lock nut.
6.6.2. Assembling angle anchor
In order to facilitate the installation of the angle
anchor on a structural anchor or on a post, Tractel
recommends that you assemble before installation.
The following assembly procedure refers to Figures 13
and 14 on pages 9 and 10.
Fixing to the floor or wall
This installation procedure is common to lifelines
travspring™ and travspring™ One lifelines.
a Place the axis of the fixing holes (item 2) of the two
angle anchors in the axis of the hole in the structural
anchor (item 3).
b. Lightly tighten the two M12 structural anchors
(item 4). As for the intermediary anchors, the
direction and retention of the anchors are favoured
by the presence of pinpoints under the anchors.
c. Thread the ends of the guide tube through the angle
(item 17) on one of the two pipes at each end of
