9.4.1 | Meter input Routing

This button displays the global Meter input routing menu page showing a routing matrix for selecting the metering source.
The metering signal source can be selected in two different ways:
With the toggle option Meter in analog/Monitoring in

the Toolbar switched to Monitoring, the metering will al-
ways show the sources selected on the Monitoring input
routing menu page. This means the metering will always
follow the Metering source selection in this mode and the
settings made on this menu page are irrelevant.
• Source
This menu item selects the input connector used for the
Metering Routing. Options: Meter in analog, digital 3.
• L, R, C, etc.
This matrix is used to assign the internal logical channels
L, R, etc. to the physical input connector selected in the
source selection (see above). The actual channel confi-
guration shown here depends on the channel mode set-
ting on the Monitoring input routing menu page. Each
channel can be assigned individually.
SurroundControl 31900/31960 Series
With the toggle option Meter in analog/Monitoring in
•
the Toolbar set to Meter in analog, a second input rou-
ting for the metering is available (independently from the
Monitoring input routing). In this way, it would be possible
to watch a certain signal source in the metering while
Metering a different source on the speakers. In this case,
the input source of the metering is selected here.
• Close
This button closes the page and returns you to the the
global routing settings menu page from which you se-
lected the Meter input routing.
