too expensive or unreliable;
- re-lubricate through the two external greasers (grease zerks UNI7663A,
DIN71412A), with the following grease type:
● 3000 rpm or higher: KLUEBER type ISOFLEX NBU 15;
● 1800 rpm or lower: KLUEBER type STABURAGS NBU 8 EP.
From a technical point of view, the best solution to obtain maximum
bearing life time is to periodically re-lubricate with original grease
in the recommended quantities and interval times. Remember that
excessive lubrication can result in temperature increases and early
aging of the grease.
Indicatively, the recommended re-lubrication times can be as fol-
lows:
- for ambient temperature Ta≤+20°C (average air temperature in the close
proximity of the vibrator) it is advisable to apply periodic re-lubrication
according to quantity and interval time as indicated in the tables on page
94.
- for ambient temperature Ta +20°C<Ta≤+30°C, it is recommended to apply
the periodic re-lubrication according to the quantities indicated in the tables
on page 94, but with a reduced interval time (x0.65).
- for ambient temperature Ta +30°C<Ta≤+40°C, it is recommended to apply
periodic re-lubrication according to the quantities indicated in the tables
on page 107 but with a reduced interval time (x0.5).
Example:
MVSI 15/3810-S02 50Hz with Ta=+20°C: re-lubrication with 26gr.
every 4000 hours.
MVSI 15/3810-S02 50Hz with Ta=+30°C: re-lubrication with 26gr.
every 2600 hours (4000x0.65).
MVSI 15/3810-S02 50Hz with Ta=+40°C: re-lubrication with 26gr.
every 2000 hours (4000x0.5).
The proposed re-lubrication interval times are only indicative,
results from theoretical calculations under specific medium
conditions and are not said to be suitable for any type of appli-
cation, as there are several variables to be considered.
Italvibras is therefore available to provide recommendations on
the best lubrication for each type of application.
WARNING: During the first relubrication, introduce a quantity
of grease greater than 20% compared to that indicated, so that
the lubrication channels can also be filled.
It is advised to contact ITALVIBRAS for particular uses which is at
complete disposal to advise the client on the best lubrication possible
for the specific use.
Never mix greases even if they have similar features. Excessive
quantity of grease causes increased heating of the bearings and
consequent anomalous current absorption.
Respect the ecological laws in force in the country in which the
equipment is used, relative to use and disposal of products used
for cleaning and maintenance of the vibrator. Always comply with
recommendations of the manufacturer of these products.
Remember that the Manufacturer is always available for any
type of assistance and spare parts.
5.2 SPARE PARTS
On requesting spare parts always state:
- Type of vibrator (TYPE detectable from the identification plate).
- Vibrator series (SERIES detectable from the identification
plate).
- Serial number (SERIAL NO. detectable from the identification
plate).
- Power supply voltage and frequency (VOLT and HZ detectable
from the identification plate).
- Spare part number (detectable from the spare part table starting
from page 116) and desired quantity.
- Exact destination address of the goods and means of
delivery.
ITALVIBRAS, declines any liability for incorrect forwarding due
to incomplete or confused requests.
SECTION 6 –
Disposal
ITALVIBRAS is active in research to make its products safer from an
environmental point of view.
The following basic indications must be considered as recommen-
dations so that recycling of the vibrator at the end of its life takes
place with respect for the environment.
Always comply with the laws and regulations of the country in
which the disposal takes place.
At the end of its useful life, the product must be collected sepa-
rately and not disposed of together with other mixed municipal
waste.
For better recycling of the materials belonging to the vibrator, we
recommend disassembling it. The materials deriving from the various
parts such as copper, aluminum, steel, etc. must be separated and
disposed of in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.
