6. Safety instructions
The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with the operating instructions. Liability for
any and all consequential damage is excluded!
We do not assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety
instructions! In such cases the guarantee is voided.
Normal wear and tear and accidents or damages caused by a crash (e.g. broken propeller or parts of the plane) are excluded from the
guarantee and warrantee.
Dear Customer,
these safety instructions are not only for the protection of the product but also for your own safety and that of other people. This is why you should
read this section very carefully before using the product!
a) General information
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children under 14 years of age!
• The product must not get damp or wet.
• If you do not have sufficient knowledge yet as how to deal with remote-controlled models, please seek the advice of an experienced model sportsman or a
model construction club.
• Taking out a private liability insurance is recommended. If you already have one, get some information whether the operation of a model is covered by your
insurance.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become dangerous playing material for children!
• Should questions arise that are not answered with the help of this operating manual, contact us (contact information see chapter 1) or another expert.
b) Before operation
• Unroll the antenna wire of the receiver of the model to its complete length. Any parts of the antenna that hangs out of the model at the rear must neither be
turned over towards the front and fastened to the model nor cut off. The best reception results are attained if the wire hangs loose from the model and is
dragged during the flight.
• Make sure that no other models are operated within the range of the remote control on the same remote control channel (transmitter frequency). Otherwise,
you will lose control over the remote-controlled model! Always use different channels if you wish to operate simultaneously two or several models in the
immediate proximity of each other.
• Check the function safety of your model and of the remote control system. Pay attention to visible damages such as broken plug-in connections or damaged
cables. All movable parts on the model have to be smooth running; however, there must be no tolerance in the bearing.
• Charge the flight battery, which is necessary for operation, as well as the rechargeable battery needed in the remote control according the instructions
indicated by the manufacturer.
• If batteries are used for the power supply of the transmitter, make sure that there is a sufficient rest capacity (battery checker). If the batteries are empty, always
replace the complete set, never individual cells only.
• Before each operation, control the settings of the trim slider at the transmitter for different steering directions and, if necessary, set them.
• To operate your model, always pull out the telescopic antenna to its full length as otherwise the transmitters presents a considerable lower range and the
transmitter output is strained higher than average.
• Always switch the transmitter on first. Only switch the flight battery of the model on afterwards. Otherwise unexpected reactions of the electric model airplane
may occur and the propeller can start to turn unintentionally!
• Check the correct and secure position of the propeller before each operation.
• Make sure that neither objects nor body parts are in the rotating and suction area of the propeller while it is rotating.
