i) Mounting the landing gear
1. Main landing gear
Use the cutter to cut the slot for the main landing gear (1) into the iron-on
foil on the bottom of the model and iron the edges of the film until they fit
tight.
Then stick the two ends of the main landing gear bent at an angle of 90°
(2) into the prepared borings (3) in the fuselage. Process the boring holes
with a key file, if necessary.
When both landing gear wires are fitted perfectly, draw the boring holes
for the fastening plates (4) and drill the screw holes with a 1.5 mm drill.
The distance of the boring holes to the side of the fuselage should be
approx. 18 mm.
The fastening plates are fitted with the help of four 2 x 10 mm sheet
metal screws.
