10. Final Assembly of the Airplane Model

Before starting with the assembly of the model, prepare an appropriate working surface. To achieve excellent flight performance, your model is made of light
moulded foam. The disadvantage of this material is, however, a sensitive surface. Small inattentions during the assembly of the model lead very quickly to ugly
dents and holes.

a) Mounting the Elevator Units

Figure 5a: Remove the adhesive strips (1) (indicated in grey) from the fuselage
tail unit surface (2).
Figure 5c: Remove the adhesive strips (1) (indicated in grey) from the bottom
of the rudder (2).
Figure 5b: Place the elevator unit (1) on the intended area of the fuselage (2)
from above.
