At regular intervals, (at least every 100 working hours) check reduction gear (Fig. 148 ref. 5) lubricating oil level. Such operation must be performed
removing the bolts (Fig. 148 ref. 1), removing the flange (Fig. 148 ref. 2), the guard (Fig. 148 ref. 3) and the plug (Fig. 148 ref. 4) on the reduction
gear.

Check the transmission belt for wear or proper tensioning:
1.
undo the fastening bolts to remove the guard (Fig. 149 ref. 1);
2.
tension up the belt (Fig. 149 ref. 2) turning the bolts provided (Fig. 149 ref. 3) holding the support (Fig. 149 ref. 4) of the motor;
3.
replace the belt (Fig. 149 ref. 2) if worn out using genuine parts;
4.
Fit and secure the guard to the tyre changer before continuing with assembly and disassembly procedure;
