14.2.2 Remove the diaphragm
NOTE!
Damage to the diaphragm
▶ To avoid damage, the device must be in MANUAL operating
state during installation and removal of the diaphragm.
▶ The actuator must be in the position "valve open".
Before disassembly:
→
Setting MANUAL operating state. See chapter "9.12".
→
Open valve.
→
Switch off the supply voltage.
Disassembly of the diaphragm:
→
Loosen the 4 nuts on the diaphragm socket cross-wise.

Body screws (4 units)

Remove the body screws.
→
Remove valve body.
→
Unbutton or unscrew the diaphragm (see "Tab. 26: Fixture
types for diaphragms").
If the diaphragm has a bayonet catch: → Detach the dia-
phragm by turning it 90° and remove it.
→
Install the new diaphragm. For a description see chapter "7.4
Install diaphragm and actuator" on page 22.
14.2.3 After replacing the diaphragm
NOTE!
Damage to the diaphragm
▶ To avoid damage, only adjust the position control after
replacing the diaphragm. Only then should the operating
state be set to AUTOMATIC.

Execute "Position control adjustment". See chapter "9.4" on
page 42 and chapter "9.5" on page 44
→
Set AUTOMATIC operating state. See Chapter "9.12" on page
51.
