Time filter for tolerating noise pulses on the input and ensuring increased machine availability.
The input delay makes the input less sensitive to external noise pulses on the cable and to
contact bouncing or test pulses issued by the connected device.
Default setting: 1 ms (adjustable in a range of 1...15 ms, application dependent)
WARNING
Effect of the input delay on the device response time
The set input delay time has a direct influence on the response time of
the safe I/O module and the overall system.
► When calculating the response time of the overall system take into account
the input delay.
► Make the input delay as short as possible when fast overall system
response times are required.
