Plate Material

Depending on the printing plate manufacturer and the used plate material, thermal plates are also
sensitive to light. The quality of some plates may degrade even after a few minutes due to the UV por-
tion of white light illumination in the room. Please note the information on the packaging of the print-
ing plates. Contact the printing plate manufacturer for specifications if necessary.
Observe the following items when handling printing plates:
• Plate edges can be sharp - wear gloves!
• Never touch the emulsion side with your bare hands.
• The surface is sensitive to scratches.
