The width of the right and left linings is approx. 720 mm and 500 mm in the center. After having
opened the lateral covering (bright gray in Fig. 2), the service engineer can swing the electronics
frame to the right, pick up both left linings of the bottom and top level from this left side (to do so,
grasp below the plate at the higher end first and unplug the fan connector) and deposit them in the
center or on the other (right) side.
The opened electronics frame makes a 720 mm wide and 1100 mm high opening accessible through
which the service engineer can climb into the machine (see Fig. 5). A steel bolt (D = 25 mm) on each
side prevents further lowering of the table.
He can then straighten a bit (not more than 1.3 m) and step forward over two aluminum profiles (dis-
tance approx. 720 mm) of the two levels in order to work on the printing plate carriage, sensors, step-
ping motors or pneumatic cylinders at the front edge of the table. He can straighten himself fully hav-
ing passed roughly half the lift table provided that the upper dust hood (Fig. 2/2) is swung open. He
will then have enough light for working as well.

The plate is loaded on the drum over the bottom
level and unloaded over the top level of the lift
table. The table length is approx. 1500 mm. Both
levels are positively linked, i.e. their distance is
always the same. They are covered with a three-
part lining (right, center, left, shown in pink in Fig.
4 and Fig. 5).
After having removed the right side covering
(bright gray in Fig. 3) as well, he can pick up the
right linings of each of the two levels and deposit
them in the middle or on the left side. When he
has pulled out the chiller at the right before, he
can crawl underneath the table from the left side,
straighten himself a bit at the right side of the
machine and there step to the front by crossing
two aluminum profiles (distance approx. 720 mm)
of the two levels, for example to perform work on
the components at the front edge of the table.
