7 Fault rectification

7.1 What to do in case of faults

What to do in case of faults
WARNING!
Risk of injury from improper fault recti-
fication!
Improperly performed work or fault rectifi-
cation can lead to severe injuries and sig-
nificant damage to equipment.
– Make sure that there is sufficient room
for assembly before commencing work.
– Switch off the single-axle walk-behind
tractor and secure it against rolling
away before commencing the fault rec-
tification work. Wait until all parts have
come to a standstill and have cooled
down.
– Keep the assembly area in a clean and
orderly condition! Loose parts and
tools lying around or on top of each
other can cause accidents.
– If parts have been removed, pay atten-
tion to correct assembly, reinstall all
fastening elements and comply with
screw tightening torques.
– Please note the following before
starting it up again:
– Make sure that all fault rectification
work has been performed and
completed in accordance with the
specifications and information in
these instructions.
– Make sure that no one is in the
danger zone.
– Make sure that all covers and
safety equipment are installed and
functioning correctly.
Faults during operation
1. In the event of faults that represent an
immediate danger to persons or equipment,
release the dead man's handle immediately
and apply the immobilisation brake.
2. Determine the cause of the fault.
3. If the fault rectification requires working in
the danger zone, switch off the single-axle
walk-behind tractor and secure it against
rolling away.
Immediately inform the responsible parties
at the usage location about the fault.

4. Depending on the type of fault, have it recti-
fied by authorised specialists or rectify it
personally.

information about who is authorised
to rectify the fault.
