Changing the gear oil
Protective equipment:
Chemically-resistant protective gloves
n
n Protective goggles
Special tool:
n Hexagon socket wrench
Pre-requisite:
n The engine is switched off and cold.

1. Loosen the drain screw (Fig. 74/1).
2. Drain the gear oil.
3. Tighten the drain screw (Fig. 74/1).
4. Bring the machine into a horizontal position.
5. Remove pollen screen.
6. Unscrew the filling screw (Fig. 73/1) and
level screw (Fig. 73/2) and add the pre-
scribed oil through the filling opening until a
little oil comes out of the level screw
opening (Fig. 73/2).
7. Tighten the filling screw (Fig. 73/1) and
level screw (Fig. 73/2).
8. Install pollen screen.

6.6 Cleaning or replacing the filter

Cleaning the air filter
1. Switch off the engine and let it cool down.

2. Loosen both clamps (Fig. 75/1) at the air
filter housing.
3. Remove the air filter.
4. Tap out the air filter or replace it if neces-
sary.
5. Insert the air filter into the air filter housing.
6. Lock both clamps (Fig. 75/1) at the air filter
housing.
