6.3 Spare parts

The use of spare parts that are not
approved by Rapid can result in damage to
the attachment.
– Only use original spare parts from
Rapid Technic AG.
– Contact the specialist retailer if any-
thing is unclear.
– The use of spare parts that are not
approved by Rapid Technic AG voids
the warranty.
Ordering spare parts
Obtain spare parts from specialist dealers.
6.4 Adding and changing
hydraulic oil and bleeding the
hydraulic system
Hydraulic oil leaks
WARNING!
Risk of injury from hydraulic oil leaks!
Malfunctions can result in hydraulic oil
leaks, which can cause the drive to fail and
the user to lose control of the machine.
This can result in severe injury and
damage to equipment.
– Check the hydraulic oil before each
start-up.
– Check the hydraulic oil level using the
inspection glass of the expansion
vessel at appropriate intervals during
operation.
– If an oil leak is detected, move the
machine to a stable position and stop,
apply the immobilisation brake and
switch off the combustion engine.
– Take appropriate measures to prevent
or at least minimise the amount of
hydraulic oil seeping into the soil.
– Correct the cause of the oil leak or
have the machine towed away in a
suitable way.

– Wear heat-resistant protective clothing
and safety gloves.
– Make sure that the machine has
cooled down to the ambient tempera-
ture.
Protective equipment:
n Chemically-resistant protective gloves
n Protective goggles
Adding hydraulic oil
Pre-requisite:
n The hydraulic oil is cold.

1. Move the machine to a horizontal position.
2. Turn the screw cover (Fig. 66/1) counter-
clockwise and remove it.
3. If the hydraulic oil level is low, add hydraulic
oil until it reaches the marking on the
expansion vessel.
4. Place the screw cover (Fig. 66/1) on the
filling opening and tighten it clockwise.
5. Check the hydraulic system.
