Programmable Parameters

The pump's programmable parameters include the following:
• date and time current prescription was entered,
• patient identification, drug name, and concentration,
• infusion mode, drug dose, and dispense rate,
• reservoir volume and Low Reservoir Alarm setting, and
• Low Battery Alarm (audible) control.
These programmable parameters are set or changed by the clinician with the
programmer by means of telemetry. The exchange of information between pump
and programmer occurs through use of the hand-held programming head. Refer
to the programmer technical manual for further information regarding pump
programmability.
