Faults

Faults in the vehicle lift can be caused by a single fault. Check the installation
for the causes indicated.
If the fault cannot be cleared by referring to the indicated causes, you should
contact the service department.

Any repairs to the vehicle lift and the resultant consequences are
completely at the users own risk where such repairs have not been
carried out by the service department.

It is understood that service department means the Stertil service
department or a Stertil approved service department.
The fault diagnosis can be used for locating defects. If in any doubt, contact the
service department.
This can be recognised by a blinking light (0.5 sec on, 0.5 sec off) on the control
panel. The raise function can be bypassed for 2 seconds by pressing the
<bypass> button and then pressing the <raise> button. In most cases, this will
be sufficient to make sure that the column lifts of the vehicle lift are at the same
level (blinking stops). The procedure stated above can be repeated until the
elevation differences have become very small (blinking stops) and lowering in a
normal way is possible again.
