2. If you are removing the card permanently, install a metal filler bracket over the empty expansion slot opening and push the expansion
card latch.

Communications Commission (FCC) certification of the system. The brackets also keep dust out of the system and
aid in proper cooling and airflow inside the system.

4. Ensure that all internal cables are routed correctly and connected, and no tools or extra parts are left inside the system.

14. If installing a new expansion card, unpack it and prepare the card for installation.
